Shopping for groceries has become a flattened experience bloated with choices, but lacking any real sense of character that can help guide us. Offering something different, Plait Grocers is a grocery concept that aims to reimagine the grocery experience by connecting shoppers to local farmers and tastemakers through events, workshops, and a worker-owned cafe.
The visual identity was inspired by the future of sustainable farming, centered around equitable communities and climate empowerment. The logo has different shapes to represent diversity and community, from people to produce. Brand colors were used to evoke a sense of warmth, welcomeness, and the energy of a new horizon.
